GLI partners gathering on Valentia a great success
Always an annual highlight, the 2024 Great Lighthouses of Ireland Partners Gathering & Networking Event took place on Valentia Island, Co. Kerry in October.
Over the course of three days, Great Lighthouses of Ireland partners explored how sustainable growth can be delivered by continuing to develop unique experiences for visitors seeking escape, natural landscapes and inspiration in stunning coastal environments.
Talks took place across the conference's three days on topics such as partnership growth and development; protecting and sharing Irish Lights' history, coastal community heritage and culture for future generations; shared oral histories and heritage; interpretation and storytelling within landscapes and communities; and many more.
